Course Introduction
Hola!
This is a course I wish I had before going to Spain for flamenco in my early days.
It includes the basics of how to understand flamenco rhythms and compás, how to work on the style of flamenco, what flamenco techniques are and how to build a good foundation.
Additionally, I give insights about how we train in Spain, so that I can prepare you for easing into learning flamenco in Spain. (Including how to prepare to dance with live song and guitar).
Most students get limited to just steps and choreography. But that means missing out on SO MUCH MORE - such as the flamenco culture that brings the dance to life - so that you can feel confident and credible, while enjoying your own full expression.
I am filled with gratitude for my 20+ years being in Spain, where over time, I learnt and worked with my maestros. These enable me to have insider and professional experiences to in turn, enable you to access flamenco learning.

Hola! I'm Tania, Flamenco Arts Producer based between Sevilla and Singapore.
Flamenco is my passion and profession. I fell in love with it on a sabbatical in Sevilla.
When I first started, there was so much to get to know and figure out.
Now with over 20 years of insider experience - learning from and working side by side with Spain's notable maestros, immersing myself in the land, the locals and the language, I'm sharing how you can connect your dance beyond the studio, to Spain and Spanish culture. So that you can experience more, grow and express yourself.
