This Spanish Dancer's Handbook is created for those who wish to build a Spanish dance repertoire with depth, confidence, and expression — beyond learning steps alone.
Through my years of dancing and teaching Spanish dance, and working closely with my maestros from Spain, I’ve learned that growing into performance is shaped not only by choreography, but by how we listen to the music, understand the work, and prepare ourselves artistically and emotionally.
This Handbook brings together listening practices, contextual inspiration, and ways of practising that support you in building repertoire and preparing for expressive performance.
Alongside this, I am developing a separate video course of Asturias dance lessons taught by Paloma Gómez, focused on choreography and technique.
This Handbook is designed to complement that learning, supporting your musicality, interpretation, confidence, and performance readiness.
It will continue to grow gradually over time, with additional insights and materials added. It will not be 'fast food', but cooked over slow fire ('a fuego lento' as we say in Spanish). As it expands, the price will be adjusted accordingly. (There is also a 'Light' version, which is free)

Hola! I'm Tania, Flamenco Arts Producer based between Singapore & Spain.
Flamenco is my passion and profession. I fell in love with it on a sabbatical in Sevilla.
I first started as a student learning from Spain's notable maestros, shadowed them and then worked closely with them. Now with over 20 years of insider experience in Spain, I aim to transmit and teach the Spanish way, connected to the land and language, people and culture, so that I can bridge students into the flamenco world.

In it, you’ll get insights into flamenco, its vibrant culture, the environment of learning, life in Sevilla and my community of artists & flamenco friends - all of which I'd love to share with you!
